Switching Microphones, Speaker or Camera

When you join a remote meeting over the internet you may wish to switch the active microphone to an external device like your headphones or camera. 


This helps define which device is to be used for audio or video when joining over the internet.


From the joining options task bar you can switch between devices by selecting the configure device option, shown as a Blue Cog icon on your call dashboard if you are an attendee, as shown as below



or select preferences via the three dots, if you are a leader 



You can then select you preferred audio or camera device from the drop down list under device settings. Finally save the changes using the green button to start using the new device.




 As an alternative joining method you can still join the meeting using a phone with your Meeting ID.
