Unable to open or start the screenshare application?
Make sure that you have the screen share program installed on your computer and under your username profile. If installed you will see the following shortcut on your desktop or system tray.
Following the prompts to install the program from your dashboard, will automatically save it to the correct path, "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ScreenShare\ScreenShare.exe"
Once installed you should not have to install this program again, although occasionally the program will require an update and need to be re-installed again to allow the screen share application to load.
You can install the program directly using the following link Screenshare Installation , which should resolve most issues.
If you are still having problems loading screen share we recommend trying the following -
- Opening the app in a different browser. To do this you can open your invitation email and right click on the share my screen button, then click on copy link address. Once you have done this, paste the link into a different browser.
- Uninstalling the program completely via Add/Remove programs and re-installing using the link above.
- Refer to your companies IT department to check if there are any security protocols in place that are blocking the installation, EG Firewall, Admin Rights.
Please Note: If your company uses Citrix application servers or you are unable to install the program directly onto your desktop, you will need to refer your IT department to Support regarding installation.
