To share your screen you must first Arrange a conference through your own event calendar, that is associated with your meetupcall account email address.
Remember to include all attendees and also the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once arranged you will receive an email invite from meetupcall.
Clicking on the 'View Joining Options' button will take you and your attendees directly to your conference dashboard.
From the conference dashboard you will have access to the screen sharing button on the task bar, as highlighted below
When you start sharing your screen an alert banner will be displayed on the call dashboard for both yourself and the attendees to know sharing is in progress.
A clickable blue monitor icon under the sharers name card will also appear to show who is currently sharing their screen.
First Time User
The first time you use the screen share option the software will install a small program locally and will see the following message.
This is a one-time event and you will not require to do this again for future conferences
If you wish to pre-install the screenshare client you can do it now by using the following link :-
Once the installation has completed you will see a screen share widget pop up that will allow you to share the screen it is displayed on.
If you have more than one monitor you can drag and drop the widget between them.
Sharing your screen as an attendee
Your attendee can also share their screen by clicking the screen share icon also located on the call dashboard.
A second banner will be displayed with their name on it and when clicked a new tab will open up on your browser to view their screen.
Please note the screen share program will first install on the attendees PC/Device, which can take up to 30 seconds depending on their broadband connection, before being prompted that the screen is being shared.
